I only knew you for a short while.
In that short time we had laughs, and I wish I got to know you better but I never got the chance. I wish I did, I always wonder if you would have been still here with us here today. Maybe then I wouldn't blame myself so much as I do now for not spending more time with you then, which might have led to you still being with us now.
A friend, when in need, is a friend indeed.
John appeared in the strangest times. There are no times stranger - than being alone.
Being alone isn't strange. You become a stranger to yourself - being alone.
Alone: you have no concept of yourself; become a strange concept to others - when you are not known.
You must know yourself before others might know you. You must be known by others before you can know yourself.
Somebody might know you. You may be remembered - before you forget yourself. (they're there for you before your head is gone)
A friend might appear in the strangest times.
The value of knowing you have friends should be cherrishhed as long as you have a friend who has a friend who becomes your friend and will never be divided from the friendship you have - in life or myth.
